Wearing Packers Necktie Gets Chicago Salesman Fired

In light of the Packers' playoff victory over the Bears in last weekend's NFC championship game, one might be inclined to chalk this up to sour grapes . . . but we'll just let the story from the Chicago Tribune speak for itself.  It's short.

See what I mean?  You have to admire the guy's courage, if not his good sense.

This is a good example of what it means to be an employee "at will."  You can be fired for any reason or no reason.

I wonder if any Giants fans met a similar fate by wearing Big Blue gear into a Jets-loving workplace after Gang Green met the same fate as the Bears in the AFC championship?
